The Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued this decision on March 29, 2000, to formally establish a branch in Brcko. Pursuant to Article 7, Paragraph 1, Item i of the Law on the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Official Gazette of BiH", No. 1/97), the Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its 7th meeting held on March 29, 2000, hereby adopts
D E C I S I O N on the Establishment of the Branch of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Brcko
Article 1. By this Decision, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (hereinafter: the Central Bank) establishes a branch in Brcko. This Decision determines the name, seat, seal, tasks, and obligations of the branch.
Article 2. The branch of the Central Bank is established under the name: "Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina Branch Brcko" (hereinafter: the Branch). The seat of the Branch is in Brcko.
Article 3. The Branch referred to in Article 2 of this Decision shall execute the obligations and tasks prescribed by the Law on the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, decisions of the Governing Board, and decisions of the Governor of the Central Bank. The Branch shall open an account for its operations, subject to the authorization of the Governor.
Article 4. The Branch shall have a round seal, around which, surrounding the coat of arms of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the following text shall be inscribed:
Article 5. The organization of operations and the systematization of job positions of the Branch shall be prescribed by the appropriate general acts of the Central Bank. The Governor shall appoint the Head of the Branch in accordance with the general acts of the Central Bank.
Article 6. The time and manner of implementation of this Decision shall be determined by the Governor with the consent of the Governing Board of the Central Bank.
Article 7. This Decision shall be published in the official gazettes of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Republika Srpska, and shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the "Official Gazette of BiH".
