Amendment to OJK Circular No. 25/SEOJK.04/2021 on Accounting Treatment Guidelines for Securities Companies

Financial Services Authority Circular Number 3/SEOJK.04/2025 regarding Amendment to Financial Services Authority Circular Number 25/SEOJK.04/2021 on Accounting Treatment Guidelines for Securities Companies

Abstract: The Financial Services Authority has regulated the accounting treatment guidelines for securities companies in Circular No. 25/SEOJK.04/2021, which is an implementing regulation of POJK Number 20/POJK.04/2021 on the Preparation of Financial Statements for Securities Companies.

Considering the increase in the nominal value of stock exchange shares held by securities companies in 2023, it is deemed necessary to make amendments to Circular No. 25/SEOJK.04/2021.

The legal basis for this Financial Services Authority Circular (SEOJK) is: Law No. 8 of 1995 as amended by Law No. 4 of 2023; Law No. 21 of 2011 as amended by Law No. 4 of 2023; and POJK No. 20/POJK.04/2021.

This Financial Services Authority Circular regulates, among other things, amendments to the main components in the presentation of financial statements, explanations of the main components, disclosures in the Accounting Policy Note (CALK), and illustrative examples of consolidated balance sheets.

Note: Securities companies may apply the provisions in this Circular earlier. This Financial Services Authority Circular (SEOJK) takes effect on the date it is established. This Financial Services Authority Circular (SEOJK) was established on April 24, 2025. The detailed Accounting Treatment Guidelines for Securities Companies are contained in the Appendix, which is an integral part of this SEOJK.
