The Superintendence of Banks and Other Financial Institutions (SIBOIF) issued Resolution No. CD-SIBOIF-1102-1-MAR19-2019 to define the criteria for identifying international banks with investment-grade ratings under Article 87 of the Tax Coordination Law. The regulation mandates the publication and annual update of a list of such banks on the Superintendence's website and requires notification of this list to competent tax authorities. This norm supersedes previous regulations and establishes the procedural framework for borrowers to request the inclusion of their banks if they meet the investment-grade criteria.
