Cash Management Services Fees Provided by SAMA's Branches

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) has approved new fees for cash management services provided by its branches, effective January 1, 2050. The circular establishes standardized pricing for counting and sorting services (ranging from 2 to 5 SAR per bundle) and transfer requests (10 to 25 SAR per transaction), depending on whether services are utilized through SAMA branches or unified cash centers. Financial institutions and unified cash center operators in the Kingdom must comply with these rates, with SAMA to subsequently publish the detailed fee collection mechanism.

Subject: Fees for Cash Management Services Provided by SAMA's Branches.

Based on the authorities vested in the Saudi Central Bank under its system issued by Royal Decree No. (M/36) dated 1427/04/11 AH, and continuing the efforts made to support market needs for high-quality currency denominations, and enhancing the efficiency of cash cycle management in the Kingdom.

We inform you of the approval of fees for Cash Management Services provided by SAMA's branches, effective from 1/1/2050 CE. You will be subsequently informed regarding the fee collection mechanism by SAMA, as detailed in the table below:
