Bank Indonesia Circular Letter No. 14/31/DPNP on Commercial Bank Head Office Reports

Bank Indonesia issued Circular Letter No. 14/31/DPNP to establish uniform guidelines for compiling and submitting Commercial Bank Head Office Reports in support of Regulation Number 14/12/PBI/2012. The circular provides technical instructions for reporting on cash flow projections, bank activity as a sales agent for non-bank products, e-banking transactions, structured products, executive officers, office networks, published financial reports, and human resources. This regulatory framework became effective on November 1, 2012.

Bank Indonesia Circular Number 14/31/DPNP, dated 31 st October 2012 regarding Commercial Bank Head Office Reports

Effective:

1 st November 2012

Summary:

The completion of this Bank Indonesia Circular represents a follow-up action for the promulgation of Bank Indonesia Regulation Number 14/12/PBI/2012, dated 15 th October 2012, and aims to create uniformity when compiling and submitting Commercial Bank Head Office Reports.

The specifics of this Bank Indonesia Circular include reporting guidelines as well as technical instructions regarding the reporting application, in particular relating to the following reports:

cash flow projections;

bank activity as a sales agent for non-Bank products, including:

a.

bancassurance;

b.

mutual funds; and

c.

international financial products.

bank transactions through delivery channel e-banking;

structured products;

executive officers;

the office network;

bank published financial reports; and

bank human resources report.

This Bank Indonesia Circular shall become effective on 1 st November 2012.
