ACPR Compliance with EBA Guidelines on Common Reference Parameters for Liquidity Crisis Simulation Scenarios (EBA/GL/2024/08)

The Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR) has declared its compliance with the European Banking Authority's guidelines issued on June 19, 2024, regarding common reference parameters for liquidity crisis simulation scenarios under Regulation (EU) 2023/1114. These guidelines apply to issuers of tokens referencing significant assets and electronic money institutions issuing electronic money tokens, particularly when required by the competent authority. Issuers are required to take all necessary measures to adhere to these guidelines in accordance with Article 16 of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010.

NOTICE Compliance of the ACPR with the guidelines of the European Banking Authority issued on the basis of Article 45, paragraph 8, of Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 setting common reference parameters for liquidity crisis simulation scenarios referred to in Article 45, paragraph 4 of said Regulation (EBA/GL/2024/08)

The Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR) has declared itself compliant with the guidelines of the European Banking Authority of June 19, 2024, issued on the basis of Article 45, paragraph 8, of Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 setting common reference parameters for liquidity crisis simulation scenarios referred to in Article 45, paragraph 4 of said Regulation.

These guidelines apply to issuers of tokens referencing one or more assets of significant importance and to electronic money institutions issuing electronic money tokens, and of non-significant importance when the competent authority so requires. These issuers must do everything in their power to comply with these guidelines, in accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 November 2010 establishing a European Supervisory Authority (European Banking Authority).
