BVI Business Companies (Amendment of Schedule 1) Order, 2025

2 VIRGIN ISLANDS STATUTORY INSTRUMENT 2025 NO. 62 BVI BUSINESS COMPANIES ACT (REVISED EDITION 2020) BVI Business Companies (Amendment of Schedule 1) Order, 2025 [Gazetted1 st July, 2025] The Cabinet, in exercise of the power conferred by section 249(1) of the BVI Business Companies Act, Revised Edition 2020, and acting on the advice of the Financial Services Commission, makes this Order: Citation and commencement

  1. (1) This Order may be cited as the BVI Business Companies (Amendment of Schedule 1) Order, 2025. (2) This Order shall come into force on the date that the BVI Business Companies and Limited Partnerships (Beneficial Ownership) (Amendment) Regulations, 2025 comes into force. Schedule 1 amended

The BVI Business Companies Act, Revised Edition 2020, is amended in Part I of Schedule 1 (a) by inserting in itsrespective section numerical order, the following: “230(3A)(c)(viii) (a) For a request to inspect, or receive a copy of an entry in, the Register of Beneficial Ownership in relation to one legal entity $75 (b) For filing a notice of objection $0 (c) For an application opposing disclosure of beneficial ownership information $0 (d) For filing a notice of intent to appeal $0

3 (e) For an application for an exemption from the disclosure of beneficial ownership information $50 (f) For an application for renewal of an exemption from the disclosure of beneficial ownership information $50”; and (b) in relation to the reference to section “233” in the first column, by inserting after “(b) a certified copy of register of members or register of directors” in the second column and the related reference in the third column, the following: “(ba) a certified copy of an entry in the Register of Beneficial Ownership $75”.
