Supreme Decree No. 007-2024-JUS: Regulations of the Law on Transparency and Access to Public Information

The Peruvian Ministry of Justice issued Supreme Decree No. 007-2024-JUS to regulate Law No. 27806 on Transparency and Access to Public Information. This decree aims to promote state transparency and uphold the constitutional right to access public information. It explicitly repeals the previous Supreme Decree No. 072-2003-PCM which approved the former regulations.

Regulations of the Law on Transparency and Access to Public Information

The purpose of these Regulations is to develop Law No. 27806, the Law on Transparency and Access to Public Information, with the aim of contributing to the promotion of transparency in State acts and the exercise of the fundamental right to access public information, regulated in paragraph 5 of Article 2 of the Political Constitution of Peru.

It repeals Supreme Decree No. 072-2003-PCM, which approved the previous Regulations of Law No. 27806, the Law on Transparency and Access to Public Information.
