Decree No. 2009-381 of April 15, 2009 Repealing Decree No. 2007-428 of May 21, 2007
The President of the High Authority of the Transition, acting on the proposal of the Minister of Finance and Budget and in Council of Ministers, hereby repeals Decree No. 2007-428 of May 21, 2007, which had extended the term of office for the auditors of the Central Bank of Madagascar appointed in 2003. The Minister of Economy, Finance and Budget is charged with executing this measure, which enters into force immediately upon radio or television broadcast or public posting regardless of its official journal publication. This urgent decree ensures the timely conclusion of the auditors' extended mandate and maintains continuity in central bank oversight.
DECREE NO. 2009-381 of April 15, 2009 repealing Decree No. 2007-428 of May 21, 2007 THE PRESIDENT OF THE HIGH AUTHORITY OF THE TRANSITION Having regard to the Constitution, Having regard to Ordinance No. 2009-001 of March 17, 2009 conferring full powers to a Military Directorate; Having regard to Ordinance No. 2009-002 of March 17, 2009 transferring full powers to Mr. Andry Nirina RAJOELINA; Having regard to Letter No. 79-HCC/G of March 18, 2009 from the Constitutional Court; Having regard to Decree No. 2009-250 of March 19, 2009 appointing the Prime Minister, Head of Government; Having regard to Decree No. 2009-251 of March 19, 2009 appointing the members of the Government; Having regard to Decree No. 2009-254 of March 25, 2009 designating the interim Ministers; ON THE PROPOSAL OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE AND BUDGET, IN COUNCIL OF MINISTERS, DECREES: Article 1 – Decree No. 2007-428 of May 21, 2007 extending the term of office of the Auditors of the Central Bank of Madagascar appointed by Decree No. 2003-383 of March 19, 2003 is hereby repealed. Article 2 – The Minister of Economy, Finance and Budget shall be responsible for the execution of this Decree insofar as it is concerned. Article 3 – By reason of urgency and in accordance with the provisions of Article 6 of Ordinance No. 62-041 of September 19, 1962 on the general provisions of domestic law and private international law, this Decree shall enter into force immediately upon its publication by radio and/or television broadcast or posting, independently of its insertion in the Official Journal of the Republic.
