The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 160 (2014) to announce the imminent official launch of Version III of the Credit Information System and to require lending institutions to nominate qualified staff for an upcoming training workshop on the system's key updates. Institutions must submit the full names, approved job titles, direct phone numbers, and email addresses of employees responsible for customer inquiries and record openings within three working days of the circular's date. The Authority will subsequently communicate the specific date and venue for the training session within ten days of issuance.

Further to our Circular No. (2013/62) dated 7/5/2013 regarding the development of credit operations systems, and following discussions and meetings held with the banking sector and lending institutions in particular, the Authority has previously developed the third version of the Credit Information System, which was launched in early 2008. A comprehensive evaluation of the system was conducted, resulting in developments across various aspects to achieve its intended purpose and better serve users from the banking sector and lending institutions.
Therefore, in preparation for the official launch of the new version before the end of this year, the Authority intends to hold a training workshop in the near future to inform and train users of the Credit Information System on the most important updates made to the system. The Authority requests institution management to provide its nominees for the training workshop and their following details (full name, approved job title, direct phone number, and employee email address) within three working days from the date of this circular. Nominations should be for employees responsible for performing the following operations on the Credit Information System:
You will be informed of the scheduled date and venue for the workshop within ten days from the date of this circular.
