Circular of the Financial Services Authority Number 32/SEOJK.03/2025 on Transparency and Publication of Reports of Sharia Commercial Banks and Sharia Business Units

The Financial Services Authority (OJK) issued Circular 32/SEOJK.03/2025 to regulate the implementation of POJK Number 18 of 2025 regarding transparency and report publication for Sharia Commercial Banks and Sharia Business Units. This circular establishes the scope, format, and procedures for preparing, announcing, and submitting Publication Reports, while mandating that reports be presented in Indonesian as the authoritative language. Circular of the Financial Services Authority Number 32/SEOJK.03/2025 on Transparency and Publication of Reports of Sharia Commercial Banks and Sharia Business Units

Abstract: The preparation of the Circular of the Financial Services Authority (SEOJK) on Transparency and Publication of Reports of Sharia Commercial Banks and Sharia Business Units is motivated by the need to regulate the implementation of the Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) Number 18 of 2025 on Transparency and Publication of Bank Reports. The legal basis for this SEOJK is: POJK No. 18 of 2025. This SEOJK regulates the scope, format, and procedures for the preparation, announcement, and submission of Publication Reports by Sharia Commercial Banks and Sharia Business Units. Publication Reports are reports that are announced to the public and/or submitted to the Financial Services Authority in accordance with the announcement and submission procedures established by the Financial Services Authority. This SEOJK also regulates transitional provisions regarding the deadline for announcing financial Publication Reports and financial performance information, as well as Publication Reports on risk exposure and capitalization, in accordance with SEOJK Number 10/SEOJK.03/2020 on Transparency and Publication of Reports of Sharia Commercial Banks and Sharia Business Units. The format of Publication Reports as stated in the Appendix of this SEOJK constitutes the minimum standard that must be met by Sharia Commercial Banks and Sharia Business Units. In the event that there are accounts with material amounts according to financial accounting standards and are not included in the format of such Publication Reports, Sharia Commercial Banks and Sharia Business Units may add and present such accounts separately.

Note: This SEOJK takes effect on February 9, 2026. This SEOJK was established on November 28, 2025. Publication Reports must be presented in the Indonesian language and may be supplemented with foreign languages, and must contain the same information. In the event of discrepancies between information presented in a foreign language and that presented in the Indonesian language, the information presented in the Indonesian language shall be used as the reference. Guidelines for the preparation of financial Publication Reports and financial performance information of Sharia Commercial Banks, Publication Reports on risk exposure and capitalization of Sharia Commercial Banks, Publication Reports on information or material facts of Sharia Commercial Banks, other Publication Reports, financial Publication Reports and financial performance information of Sharia Business Units, Publication Reports on information or material facts of Sharia Business Units, as well as the format of the executive officer's statement letter, the format of the statement letter of members of the Board of Directors and members of the Board of Commissioners, are regulated in the Appendix of this SEOJK. Upon the effective date of this SEOJK, SEOJK Number 10/SEOJK.03/2020 on Transparency and Publication of Reports of Sharia Commercial Banks and Sharia Business Units is revoked and declared invalid.
