Rulebook on Repealing the Rulebook on Handling Unfit Convertible Mark Banknotes and Coins and Effective Foreign Currency Banknotes

The Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued this Rulebook to formally repeal the previous regulation concerning the handling of unfit convertible mark banknotes, coins, and effective foreign currency banknotes. The repeal takes effect upon the publication of this new Rulebook in the Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The new provisions are scheduled to become applicable starting from May 1, 2017.

Pursuant to Article 49, paragraph (1) of the Rulebook on the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ref: UV-104-01-1-116/15 dated December 28, 2015, the Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its 1st meeting held on January 31, 2017, adopts

Rulebook on Repealing the Rulebook on Handling Convertible Mark Banknotes and Coins and Effective Foreign Currency Banknotes That Are Unfit for Circulation

Article 1. The Rulebook on Handling Convertible Mark Banknotes and Coins and Effective Foreign Currency Banknotes That Are Unfit for Circulation ("Official Gazette of BiH", 36/13) is repealed as of the date of application of this Rulebook.

Article 2. This Rulebook enters into force on the date of its publication in the "Official Gazette of BiH", and shall be applied from May 1, 2017.

Article 3. This Rulebook shall also be published in the "Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH", the "Official Gazette of the Republika Srpska", and the "Official Gazette of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina".
