Subject: Approval to accept the Family Register from the Absher platform and Tawakkalna application.

In continuation of the Central Bank instructions issued under Circular No. (43.1.0538) dated 27/08/1443H,
regarding the approval to accept digital identity from the Absher platform and Tawakkalna application, we wish to inform you of the Ministry of Interior's launch of an electronic version of the (Family Register for Citizens) document issued via the (Absher) platform on the (Tawakkalna) application, in partnership with the Saudi Data and AI Authority; this aims to facilitate citizens' access by enabling relevant entities to view Family Register data simply by scanning and reading the QR code.

Please be informed that all financial institutions are required to accept the (Family Register for Citizens) document available via the (Absher) platform and (Tawakkalna) application, within operations that do not require taking a physical copy of the document, subject to the laws and regulations applicable to printed copies of these documents.
