CMN Resolution No. 5,301 of May 5, 2026

RESOLUTION CMN NO. 5,301, OF MAY 5, 2026

Amends Resolution CMN No. 5,209, of April 30, 2025, which establishes the financial charges, financing terms, and commissions due by the borrower, as a result of the administration and risk of financing operations with resources from the Social Fund destined for the Minha Casa, Minha Vida Program – PMCMV.

The Central Bank of Brazil, in accordance with Art. 9 of Law No. 4,595, of December 31, 1964, makes public that the National Monetary Council, in an extraordinary session held on May 5, 2026, and considering the provisions of Arts. 4, main text , items III and IV, and 6, main text , items I and VII-A, and § 19, item IV, of Law No. 14,620, of July 13, 2023, in Art. 59-A of Law No. 12,351, of December 22, 2010, and in Art. 5, §§ 2 and 4, of Decree No. 12,424, of April 3, 2025,

R E S O L V E U :

Art. 1. Resolution CMN No. 5,209, of April 30 2025, published in the Official Gazette of the Union on May 6, 2025, shall now be in effect with the following changes:

II - financing for the execution of housing improvement interventions, renovations and expansions, including the purchase of construction materials, with the objective of promoting the right to adequate housing, to natural persons whose monthly family income does not exceed the ceiling of the PMCMV, in accordance with Art. 5 of Law No. 14,620, of July 13, 2023.

Art. 2. The items “a” and “b” of item I of the main text of Art. 3-A of Resolution CMN No. 5,209, of April 30 2025, published in the Official Gazette of the Union on May 6, 2025, are hereby repealed.

Art. 3. This Resolution enters into force on the date of its publication.
