Extended Opening Hours for All Banks and the Seychelles Credit Union

The Central Bank of Seychelles mandates that all commercial banks and the Seychelles Credit Union extend their public branch operating hours to 2:30 p.m. starting April 16, 2020. Branches will maintain their existing Saturday closures while operating on all other public days until further notice, aligning with Public Health Authority social distancing guidelines. Institutions are further directed to actively promote digital banking channels to reduce physical foot traffic.

### Extended opening hours for the public

Reference is made to the above subject matter.

Central Bank of Seychelles (CBS) hereby advises that all banks and the Seychelles Credit Union (SCU) extend their opening hours to 2.30 p.m. on all days that their branches are open to the public as of April 16, 2020 until further notice. All branches will remain closed on Saturdays. This is to provide customers with sufficient time to access banking services while respecting the guidance issued by the Public Healthy Authority in regards to social distancing.

Banks and SCU should encourage their customers to make use of digital means to access their services wherever possible.
