Regulations amending Finansinspektionen’s regulations on information concerning interest rates on housing loans

Finansinspektionen issued regulations amending its previous guidelines to redefine the term 'housing loan' for regulatory purposes. The amendment specifies that a housing loan must be associated with a lien on fixed property, site-leasehold rights, tenant-owner rights, or equivalent rights in non-property buildings. These changes are designed to align with definitions in the Covered Bonds, Banking, and Consumer Credit Acts and entered into force on November 1, 2021.
