Cancellation of Registration of ABA Global Philippines, Inc. Under the Trade Name Coex Star
The Monetary Board of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas affirmed the cancellation of ABA Global Philippines, Inc.'s registration as a Virtual Asset Service Provider under Resolution No. 928 dated September 18, 2025. This action revokes the entity's Certificate of Registration to operate as a Type B Remittance Agent with Virtual Currency Exchange service pursuant to the Manual of Regulations for Non-Bank Financial Institutions. The decision is final and binding, effectively terminating the company's legal authority to conduct remittance and virtual asset services in the Philippines.

The Monetary Board, in its Resolution No. 928 dated 18 September 2025, affirmed with finality the decision to cancel ABA GLOBAL PHILIPPINES, INC. UNDER THE TRADE NAME COEX STAR’s Certificate of Registration to operate as Remittance and Transfer Company with a Type “B” Remittance Agent with Virtual Currency Exchange service, now referred to as Virtual Asset Service Provider, pursuant to Section 902-N, in relation to Section 901-N of the Manual of Regulations for Non-Bank Financial Institutions.
