Bank of Zambia Circular No. 10/2019: Public Holiday on October 25, 2019
The Bank of Zambia has declared Friday, October 25, 2019, a public holiday and directed all financial service providers to reschedule obligations due on that date for settlement on Monday, October 28, 2019. Providers must implement operational measures to ensure uninterrupted delivery of critical financial services throughout the holiday period. This directive applies universally to all heads of financial service providers under the central bank’s regulatory oversight.

## PUBLIC HOLIDAY – FRIDAY OCTOBER 25, 2019
In view of the declaration by His Excellency the President, that Friday October 25, 2019 is a Public Holiday; all Financial Service Providers are requested to ensure that any financial obligations that are due on Friday October 25, 2019 are rescheduled for settlement on Monday October 28, 2019.
In addition, you are required to put in place measures to ensure that there is no disruptions in the provision of critical financial services to the general public.
