Circular No. 196 Lost Government Bond
The Palestine Monetary Authority, pursuant to a directive from the Ministry of Finance and Planning, issued Circular No. 196/2023 instructing all banks operating in Palestine to immediately cease disbursement of Government Bond No. 4424 issued to Bioline Medical and Laboratory Supplies Company. Banks are mandated to treat the 346,546.80 NIS instrument, printed on December 26, 2021, as void upon presentation and must notify the Ministry if the physical document is located. This administrative suspension formally invalidates the lost financial instrument to prevent unauthorized claims or fraudulent processing.
