Circular No. 01/DLC/2016, March 8 – Information Obligation for International Payment Operations Using International Bank Cards
The Bank of Mozambique issued Circular No. 001/DLC/2016 to mandate commercial banks to daily transmit, via the Bank Supervision Application (BSA) platform, detailed information on international payments made using international bank cards. This requirement implements Article 6 of Notice No. 11/GBM/2015 and obligates banks to submit standardized electronic reports using the prescribed control table template. The circular takes immediate effect, with any interpretive or application queries to be directed to the Licensing and Foreign Exchange Control Department.
