The Palestine Monetary Authority has issued minor amendments to borrower and facility disclosure files for non-corporate legal entities by extending data entry fields to improve identification. Banks are required to incorporate these updated formats when preparing their mandatory credit information submissions. The Authority will conduct field visits to assess banking sector readiness and address inquiries prior to commencing the formal receipt of floppy disk data from financial institutions.

Subject: New Credit Information Service
With reference to inquiries received by the Monetary Authority from some banks regarding disclosure in the borrower and facility files for other non-corporate legal entities listed in Annex No. (1), items (2 and 5), and to clarify this, we wish to inform you that minor additions have been made to the aforementioned files according to the attached forms, in which the addition fields have been extended to facilitate identification. Accordingly, we request you to take these additions into consideration when preparing the required files in accordance with standards, noting that the Monetary Authority's working team will commence field visits to the banking sector in the coming days to assess readiness and respond to your inquiries, in preparation for the next step, which involves commencing the receipt of floppy disks from the banks.
