The Financial Secretary of Belize issued this Order to designate Michelle V. Longsworth, Director General of Tax Administration, as the Competent Authority for specific tax information exchange functions. This designation empowers Longsworth to handle the Spontaneous Exchange of Country-by-Country Reporting information and the Automatic Exchange of Financial Account Information under the Common Reporting Standard. The Order revokes the previous 2017 designation and is deemed to have come into force on January 25, 2020.
