BSP Circular CL-2025-034: University of Luzon Savings and Loan Association, Inc. Surrender of NSSLA License
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas issued Circular Letter CL-2025-034 to announce the Monetary Board's approval of the University of Luzon Savings and Loan Association, Inc.'s voluntary surrender of its license to operate as a non-stock savings and loan association. This decision, formalized in Resolution No. 716 dated 17 July 2025, permits the institution to proceed with voluntary dissolution and liquidation. The circular serves as official guidance to all banks and non-bank financial institutions regarding this regulatory change effective 31 July 2025.
