The Vice-President and Minister of Finance and Trade issued these regulations to amend the Foreign Exchange Act 2009 by establishing a new authorised limit for hotels. The amended provision sets a fixed allowance of €300 per client per day, directly replacing the previous statutory instrument. Enacted under section 15 of the Foreign Exchange Act, these rules took effect on 15 November 2010 to standardize foreign currency transactions for hotel clients.

Foreign Exchange (Authorised Limit for Hotels) Regulations, 2010
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Foreign Exchange Act, the Vice-President and the Minister of Finance and Trade hereby makes the following Regulations—
These Regulations may be cited as the Foreign Exchange (Authorised Limit for Hotels) Regulations, 2010. Citation
The amount prescribed under section 3(3) of the Foreign Exchange Act, 2009 shall be equivalent to €300 per client per day. Amendment of S.I. 89 of 2009
