Circular

To, The Bank / Respected,

General Circular to all banks operating in the Kingdom.

In continuation of the Institution's Circular No. 6898/M.A/287 dated 4/5/1420 AH, regarding the procedures and controls to be followed when performing ATM maintenance, including the requirement for ATM maintenance workers to carry identification cards bearing their names and personal photographs, stamped with the official seal of their employer, as well as the requirement for maintenance companies and institutions to display specific logos on their vehicles and staff uniforms. The Institution has observed during its follow-up process on certain bank-owned ATMs, as well as through security authority observations reported to the Institution, that ATM maintenance and refueling workers are using their private vehicles and some are not strictly complying with the governing regulations.

Therefore, we request confirmation of compliance with the aforementioned Circular, as well as notification to contracted companies performing these services to adhere thereto. The Institution will conduct follow-up inspections to ensure the bank's compliance with these instructions and will apply regulations against any non-compliant bank.
