Going forward, kindly forward to us the data on card issued and total number of active accounts using the format below:

Please note, active accounts for this purpose, are accounts with at least one transaction in the past 6 months; while active cards are those that have been picked up and activated by the customer.

It will be appreciated, if the data could be forwarded to the Director, Banking & payments System Department, CBN Abuja as well as through the email address: sharedservices@cbn.gov.ng_on or before the third working day following the reporting month. Thus, the first report should be forwarded to us on or before September 3, 2011.
