The National Monetary Council, through the Central Bank of Brazil, issued Resolution No. 4833 to increase the credit limit for Price Guarantee Financing for Producers (FGPP) for sugarcane and fishery operations to R$65 million per beneficiary. The resolution prohibits the use of Mandatory Resources for FGPP investment operations and extends the contracting deadline for various rural credit programs, including Pronamp, Pronaf, and Procap-Agro, to October 30, 2020, to support producers affected by drought or emergency situations. Additionally, the resolution temporarily waives specific capitalization limits for the 2020/2021 agricultural year and updates debt renegotiation formalization deadlines.
