Decision No 1/2017 on the setting of the countercyclical capital buffer rate
Národná banka Slovenska issued Decision No 1/2017 to set the countercyclical capital buffer rate at 0.5 percent. This regulation repeals the previous Decision No 22/2016 which established the prior buffer rate. The new decision enters into force on 1 February 2018.
Decision No 1/2017 of Národná banka Slovenska of 31 January 2017 on the setting of the countercyclical capital buffer rate Národná banka Slovenska, in accordance with Article 33g(1) of the Banking Act (No 483/2001 Coll. on banks and amending certain laws, as amended by Act No 213/2014 Coll.), has adopted this Decision: Article 1 In accordance with Article 33(g) of the Banking Act, the countercyclical capital buffer rate is set at 0.5%. Article 2 This Decision repeals Decision No 22/2016 of Národná banka Slovenska of 25 October 2016 on the setting of the countercyclical capital buffer rate.
