Regulation on the application of EBA Guidelines on materiality, proprietary and confidentiality and disclosure frequency under Articles 432 and 433 of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013
The Governing Board of the Bank of Slovenia issued this regulation to formally apply the European Banking Authority's Guidelines on materiality, proprietary information, confidentiality, and disclosure frequency to Slovenian banks and the central bank as a competent authority. The regulation mandates that institutions must assess whether specific disclosures under Part Eight of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 are material or confidential, allowing for omissions where appropriate, and requires consideration of more frequent publication based on business characteristics. This legal act entered into force on 1 July 2015 and became applicable on 15 October 2015, ensuring alignment with European supervisory standards.
