The Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR) has declared conformity with the European Banking Authority's guidelines amending previous moratoria rules for loan repayments during the COVID-19 pandemic. These consolidated guidelines are applicable to credit institutions supervised by the ACPR from April 2, 2020, until March 31, 2021. Institutions are required to take all necessary measures to comply with these guidelines in accordance with Article 16 of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010.
NOTICE Implementation of the European Banking Authority Guidelines Amending the guidelines on legislative and non-legislative moratoria on loan repayments applied due to the COVID-19 pandemic (EBA/GL/2020/15) The Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR) has declared conformity with the guidelines of the European Banking Authority (EBA/GL/2020/15) amending the guidelines on legislative and non-legislative moratoria on loan repayments applied due to the COVID-19 pandemic (EBA/GL/2020/02). The consolidated guidelines are attached to this notice. These guidelines are applicable from 2 April 2020 until 31 March 2021, by credit institutions subject to ACPR supervision, which must do everything in their power to comply with them, in accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 November 2010 establishing the European Banking Authority.
