Implementation of EBA Guidelines on AML/CFT Risk Factors (EBA/GL/2021/02)

The Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR) has declared conformity with the European Banking Authority's guidelines (EBA/GL/2021/02) repealing and replacing previous anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing risk factor orientations. These guidelines apply to all credit institutions and financial entities supervised by the ACPR as defined in Directive (EU) 2015/849. The entities must implement full compliance with these requirements effective from October 7, 2021, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010.

NOTICE Implementation of the European Banking Authority (EBA) Guidelines (EBA/GL/2021/02) repealing and replacing the guidelines on money laundering and terrorist financing risk factors

The Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR) has declared conformity with the European Banking Authority (EBA) guidelines (EBA/GL/2021/02) repealing and replacing the guidelines on money laundering and terrorist financing risk factors (JC/2017/37). The guidelines are attached to this notice.

These guidelines are applicable as of October 7, 2021, by all credit institutions and financial institutions defined in paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 3 of Directive (EU) 2015/849 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 2015 and subject to the supervision of the ACPR, who must do everything in their power to comply with them, in accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 November 2010 establishing the European Banking Authority.
