SAMA Remote Work Initiative for Financial Institutions

SAMA, in coordination with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, mandates financial institutions to officially register remote customer service workers and ensure their mandatory social insurance enrollment or contract documentation via a designated electronic portal. This requirement applies to all contractual arrangements, including direct hires and those facilitated through intermediaries or subcontractors. Furthermore, the initiative restricts remote customer service positions to Saudi nationals and requires strict adherence to Circular No. 43008132 and Decision No. 112203.
