Decision on Placing 5000-Dinar Banknote in Circulation

The Governor of the National Bank of Serbia issued this decision to place a 5000-dinar banknote into circulation effective 6 May 2016. The issuance is based on the Law on the National Bank of Serbia and adheres to the features specified in the Decision on the Issue of 5000-Dinar Banknote. This regulation was published in the RS Official Gazette and entered into force on the same date as its implementation.

“RS Official Gazette”, No 44/2016 Pursuant to Article 18, paragraph 1, item 3 and Article 55, paragraph 3 of the Law on the National Bank of Serbia (“RS Official Gazette”, Nos 72/2003, 55/2004, 85/2005 – other law, 44/2010, 76/2012, 106/2012, 14/2015 and 40/2015 – CC decision), the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia issues this D E C I S I O N ОN PLACING 5000-DINAR BANKNOTE IN CIRCULATION

  1. On 6 May 2016, the National Bank of Serbia shall place in circulation a 5000-dinar banknote, with features set out in the Decision on the Issue of 5000-Dinar Banknote and its Main Features (“RS Official Gazette”, No 44/2016).
