President Danny Faure and the National Assembly enacted the International Trade Zone (Amendment) Act, 2018 to modify section 14(2) of the International Trade Zone Act (Cap 277). The legislation replaces the initial word "Where" with a comprehensive clause that explicitly carves out exceptions for export services and specific Schedule acts. This targeted revision clarifies the statutory scope of trade zone operations while preserving existing regulatory frameworks.
