Instruction 2024-I-08 of 21 June 2024 on information to be transmitted to the ACPR regarding the acquisition or extension of participation in an issuer of tokens referencing one or more assets
The French Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR) issued Instruction 2024-I-08 on 21 June 2024 to implement requirements under the EU Crypto-Asset Market Regulation (MiCA). The instruction mandates that any acquisition or extension of participation in an issuer of asset-referenced tokens must be notified to the ACPR using the specific form attached to the document. This requirement is based on Articles 41 and 42 of Regulation (EU) 2023/1114 and Article L. 553-1 of the French Monetary and Financial Code.
