Circular No. (39 / 2023) To all specialized lending institutions operating in Palestine Date: Sunday, 12 February 2023

Subject: The Fifth Issue of the (50) Jordanian Dinar Denomination

In light of the Central Bank of Jordan issuing a new fifth series banknote in the (50) Jordanian Dinar denomination, immediate measures are requested to accept transactions with the new issue; including:

  1. Preparing machines to count and inspect the new series of banknotes alongside the current series of the same denomination.
  2. Training staff on the security features of the currency to enable the identification of any forgery or counterfeiting.
