The Registrar of Banks issued Banks Act Circular 9/2003 to request comments on the second draft of proposed amendments to the securitisation notice. This notice designates traditional and synthetic securitisation schemes as activities not falling within the meaning of 'The Business of a Bank'. Stakeholders are required to submit their feedback by 31 July 2003 and return signed acknowledgements of receipt to the Office.
