The Palestine Monetary Authority mandates that all banks operating in Palestine must execute formal legal contracts with the General Police Directorate prior to connecting their alarm systems to police security networks. This directive addresses a January 16, 2008 communication from the General Police Directorate regarding unauthorized alarm linkages established without proper legal agreements. Banks are required to immediately formalize these arrangements for all administrative offices, branches, and affiliated locations to ensure regulatory compliance.
