List of Acceptable Jurisdictions for Custodians under the Collective Investment Schemes Regulations 2010
The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority issued this guidance to identify jurisdictions applying appropriate regulatory standards for custodians of Qualifying Funds and Experienced Investor Funds. The Authority recognizes Guernsey, Jersey, Ireland, Singapore, Switzerland, and the UK as acceptable jurisdictions for custody services. While the list serves as persuasive guidance, governing bodies remain responsible for conducting their own suitability reviews and obtaining manager approval for custodian appointments.
