Regulations repealing Finansinspektionen’s regulations and general guidelines (FFFS 2014:8) regarding certain activities involving consumer credit (FFFS 2025:8)
Finansinspektionen has decided to repeal its regulations and general guidelines (FFFS 2014:8) concerning certain activities involving consumer credit. These new regulations (FFFS 2025:8) will enter into force on July 1, 2025, replacing the previous framework. However, the repealed regulations will continue to apply until July 2026 for undertakings previously authorized under the Certain Consumer Credit-related Operations Act, or until their application for banking or financing business authorization is fully assessed if submitted before that date.
