The Collegiate Board of the Central Bank of Brazil issued Circular No. 4014 to amend the effective dates of specific provisions within Circular No. 3,952 of June 27, 2019. The regulation establishes that certain provisions of the referenced circular will enter into force on November 3, 2020, while the remaining provisions are scheduled for November 3, 2020. This circular itself became effective on June 1, 2020, under the authority of the Director of Regulation.
The Collegiate Board of the Central Bank of Brazil, in a session held on April 15, 2020, based on Article 9 of Law No. 4,595 of December 31, 1964, Article 28, item II, of Law No. 12,810 of May 15, 2013, Article 9, items I and X, of Law No. 12,865 of October 9, 2013, and Article 8 of Resolution No. 4,734 of June 27, 2019, and considering the provisions of Article 2, item II, letter "b", of Resolution No. 4,593 of August 28, 2017, and Articles 2, 4, and 5 of Resolution No. 4,734 of 2019,
RESOLVES:
Article 1. Circular No. 3,952 of June 27, 2019, shall be amended as follows:
"Article 17. .....................................................

II - on November 3, 2020, with regard to the remaining provisions." (NR)
Article 2. This Circular enters into force on June 1, 2020.
