The Collegiate Board of the Central Bank of Brazil issued Circular No. 4012 to extend the submission deadline for annual ICAAP and ICAAP-Simp reports with a base date of December 31, 2019. The new deadline for making these reports available to the Central Bank is set for June 30, 2020. This measure was adopted to address the economic impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the financial system.
The Collegiate Board of the Central Bank of Brazil, in a session held on April 28, 2020, based on the provisions of Articles 9, 10, item IX, and 11, item VII, of Law No. 4,595 of December 31, 1964, and Article 40, paragraph 2, of Resolution No. 4,557 of February 23, 2017,
R E S O L V E S:
Art. 1 The deadline for making available to the Central Bank of Brazil the annual reports related to the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and the Simplified Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP-Simp) with a base date of December 31, 2019, as provided for in Article 5 of Circular No. 3,846 of September 13, 2017, shall be June 30, 2020.
Art. 2 This Circular enters into force on the date of its publication.
