Regulations amending Finansinspektionen’s rules on operations on trading venues
Finansinspektionen amended its regulations governing operations on trading venues to define conditions for parent companies to claim an exception from aggregating holdings with subsidiaries. The rules require that parent companies must not intervene in the voting rights of Swedish management companies, AIF managers, or securities institutions, which must remain free to exercise those rights independently. Additionally, parent companies seeking this exception must promptly submit a list of relevant subsidiaries and a declaration confirming compliance with the non-intervention requirements.
