Bank of Zambia Circular 15/2015 on Provision of Foreign Exchange Market Data
The Bank of Zambia requires all commercial banks to submit daily intra-day foreign exchange market data with immediate effect. Institutions must report confirmed and unconfirmed transactions, as well as pipeline deals, valued at US$100,000 or above, including those with foreign banks. Submissions must utilize the prescribed template and be transmitted via email at 09:00, 12:00, and 15:00 hours each business day.

PROVISION OF FOREIGN EXCHANGE MARKET DATA
The above subject matter refers.
All commercial banks are hereby advised that they are required to submit to the Bank of Zambia the following information with immediate effect:
(i) All confirmed and unconfirmed foreign exchange transactions of US$100,000.00 and above;
(ii) All pipeline deals, i.e. customer enquiries and orders of US $100,000.00 and above.
This information should be completed in the attached template and submitted daily to the Bank of Zambia through email address, fmkreturns@boz.zm at the time intervals of 09:00 hours, 12:00 hours and 15:00 hours. This information must include transactions with foreign banks.
Please note that Commercial Banks are required to continue submitting the foreign exchange returns and schedules by 09:00 hours on the following business day.
