CSSF Regulation No 24-07 of 3 October 2024 on Qualifications for Statutory Auditors

The Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier issued Regulation No 24-07 to update the professional qualification requirements for statutory auditors in Luxembourg. This regulation establishes a new list of Master’s degrees and diplomas that satisfy the training requirements defined in the Grand-ducal Regulation of 14 December 2018. It also creates a list of specific approvals referenced in Article 1 and repeals the previous CSSF Regulation No 19-04.

relating to:

  1. the establishment of a list of Master’s degrees or diplomas corresponding to equivalent training which satisfy the requirements referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 2 of the Grand-ducal Regulation of 14 December 2018 determining the requirements for the professional qualification of réviseurs d’entreprises (statutory auditors) and réviseurs d’entreprises agréés (approved statutory auditors);
  2. the establishment of a list of approvals referred to in Article 1, point (3) of the Grand-ducal Regulation of 14 December 2018 determining the requirements for the professional qualification of réviseurs d’entreprises (statutory auditors) and réviseurs d’entreprises agréés (approved statutory auditors).
