Guidelines on Unlisted Capital Market Products under the Lodge and Launch Framework
The Securities Commission Malaysia issued these Guidelines to establish the Lodge and Launch Framework for unlisted capital market products, including wholesale funds, structured products, corporate bonds, and asset-backed securities. The framework eliminates the need for prior regulatory approval by requiring Responsible Parties to lodge accurate information and documents with the SC before launching products to sophisticated investors. It mandates strict continuous obligations, immediate revisions for material changes, and adherence to specific structural and disclosure requirements for each product category.
