CSSF Circular 18/700 on the Law of 13 June 2017 regarding payment accounts and postal financial services

The CSSF issued Circular 18/700 to implement the Law of 13 June 2017, which transposes Directive 2014/92/EU concerning payment account fees, switching, and access to basic features. This regulation also amends the Law of 15 December 2000 on postal financial services to align with updated payment account standards. The circular explicitly repeals the previous Circular CSSF 10/479 to ensure compliance with the new legal framework.
