Whereas issuance and circulation of Rupiah is addressed to provide cash in society as a legal tender in Republic of Indonesia; b. Whereas to enchance the element function on currency in the 100.000 (one hundred thousand) Rupiah denomination as legal tender in Republic of Indonesia, it is deemed necessary to enhance the security features in Rupiah design; c. Now therefore, based on consideration referred to in letter a and letter b, second amendment of Bank Indonesia Regulation Number 6/28/PBI/2004 concerning Issuance and Circulation of the Year 2004 Issue of Banknotes in the 100.000 (One Hundred Thousand) Rupiah denomination needs to be amended. In view of : 1. Act of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 1999 concerning Bank Indonesia (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 66 of 1999, Supplement to the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 3843) as amended by Act of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2009 (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 7 of 2009, Supplement to the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 4962);

Article I Several provisions in Bank Indonesia Regulation Number 6/28/PBI/2004 concerning Issuance and Circulation of the Year 2004 Issue of Banknotes in the 100.000 (One Hundred Thousand) Rupiah Denomination (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 162 of 2004) as amended by Bank Indonesia Regulation Number 11/9/PBI/2009 (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 46 of 2009) amended as follows:

1. The provisions of Article 4 shall be amended as follows: Article 4 The specifications of the currency in the 100.000 (hundred thousand) Rupiah denomination referred to in Article 1, for year of print starting from 2009 until June 2011, are: a. Color The dominant color printed on the obverse side and the reverse sides of the banknote is red; b. Images
2. Obverse side a) main image of the Proclaimer of Indepedence and underneath the inscriptions of “DR. IR. SOEKARNO” and “DR. H. MOHAMMAD HATTA”; b) between the Proclaimer of Indepedence, the inscriptions of proclamation text against the background of the flag of the Republic of Indonesia; c) the number “100000” representing face value, inscribed horizontally to the upper left of the main image and vertically to the right of the watermark; d) to the left of the main image, an image of the Gedung Proklamasi; e) to the upper left of the image of the Gedung Proklamasi, a rectoverso image that if held up to the light will reveal a complete logo of Bank Indonesia; f) to the lower left of the main image, the words “Bank Indonesia” inscribed horizontally, and underneath this inscription, the inscription of “SERATUS RIBU RUPIAH” (one hundred thousand Rupiah); g) to the left of the main image and upper the words “BANK INDONESIA”, the blind code shaped in 2 (two) circle that fells roughed when touched; h) to the upper right of the main image, inscription of the latent image “BI” words in rectangular frame in the shape of ornament which can be viewed at certain angles;

Unofficial Translation i) to the upper right of the main image, the Republic of Indonesia emblem of the Garuda Pancasila; j) to the lower right, the Bank Indonesia logo in pentagonal field, printed in optically variable ink that will change color from yellow-gold to green when viewed at certain angles; k) to the right of the main image, the number “2009” representing year of print (2009 number will be changed according to the year of print), inscription of “DEWAN GUBERNUR (Board of Governors), signature of the Governor of Bank Indonesia accompanied by inscription of “GUBERNUR” (Governor) and signature of a Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia and inscription “DEPUTI GUBERNUR” (Deputy of Governor); l) background and filler consisting of wavy, slanted lines and a series of lines curved in the shape of certain ornaments; m) microtext with the inscription of “BANKINDONESIA” or “BI” legible only under magnifying glass, at the;

1. the upper left, center left, and lower left edges, forming an underlying pattern with varying color of text;
2. the center, below the text of proclamation, in curved form;
3. the right of the potrait of DR. H. Mohammad Hatta, forming a lotus flower;
4. the upper right, center right and lower right edges, forming an underlying pattern with varying color of text; n) Minitext is a small size text legible without magnifying glass on the upper and below the inscription of “BANKINDONESIA50000” watermark, forming curves with varying color of text;

Reverse side a) main image depicting the Indonesian Parliament and Council Building; b) below the main image, the inscription of “DENGAN RAHMAT TUHAN YANG MAHA ESA, BANK INDONESIA MENGELUARKAN UANG SEBAGAI ALAT PEMBAYARAN YANG SAH DENGAN NILAI SERATUS RIBU RUPIAH” (by the grace of God the Almighty, Bank Indonesia hereby issues this currency as legal tender to the value of one hundred thousand Rupiah);

Unofficial Translation c) above the main image, an image of the Map of the Indonesian Archipelago that will glow yellow under ultraviolet light; d) above the watermark, an invisibly printed image of the Indonesian Parliament and Council Building that glows with a reddish color under ultraviolet light; e) to the upper left of the main image, an invisibly printed inscription of the number “100000” representing face value, that will glow greenish yellow under ultra violet light; f) serial number consisting of 3 (three) letters and 6 (six) digits, located to the lower left of the banknote and printed in black ink that will glow with a greenish color under ultra violet light, and on the upper right, below the inscription “Bank Indonesia” printed in red ink that will glow with a yellowish color under ultraviolet light; g) to the upper right of the main image, the inscription of “BANK INDONESIA”; h) to the upper right, below the serial number, a rectoverso image that if held up to the light will reveal a complete logo of Bank Indonesia; i) the number “100000” representing face value, inscribed horizontally on the lower right and vertically on the upper left; j) to the lower right, below the number “100000” representing face value, the inscription of “PERUM PERCETAKAN UANG RI IMP” (the Indonesian currency mint, 2004) and year of issue “2004”; k) microtext with the inscription of “BANKINDONESIA” or “BI”, legible only under a magnifying glass, at the:

2. upper right, above the top of the Indonesian Parliament and Council Building , forming underlying pattern;

7. specific type of pigment forming two adjoining lines that will change color from copper red to green and blue to yellow-gold when viewed at certain angles.
8.
