Financial Services (Consolidated Licensing and Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2023

The Financial Services Commission of Mauritius issued these amendment rules to update the licensing fee schedule under the Financial Services Act. The amendments insert a new table for Global Shared Services, establishing a USD 1,000 processing fee and a USD 2,500 fixed annual fee. These rules take effect on 28 January 2023, modifying the First Schedule to the principal 2008 licensing and fees regulations.

LEGAL SUPPLEMENT 47 to the Government Gazette of Mauritius No. 6 of 28 January 2023 Government Notice No. 13 of 2023 THE FINANCIAL SERVICES ACT FSC Rules made by the Financial Services Commission under Section 93 of the Financial Services Act

  1. These Rules may be cited as the Financial Services (Consolidated Licensing and Fees) (Amendment) Rules 2023.
  2. In these Rules – “principal Rules” means the Financial Services (Consolidated Licensing and Fees) Rules 2008.
  3. The First Schedule to the principal Rules is amended, in PART I by inserting immediately after the table for ‘Investment Banking’ the following new table – Global Activities Code Licence Relevant section of Financial Services Act Processing Fee Fixed Annual Fee FS-7.1 Global Shared Services 77C USD 1,000 USD 2,500
  4. These Rules shall come into operation on 28 January 2023. Made by the Financial Services Commission on 24 January
