The National Monetary Council, via the Central Bank of Brazil, issued Resolution CMN No. 5,313 to amend Resolution CMN No. 5,309 concerning financing lines for infrastructure investments. The amendment modifies Articles 3 and 4 to mandate that financing interest rates be calculated by converting specific financial charges into factors and multiplying them. This resolution entered into force on the date of its publication.
The Central Bank of Brazil, in accordance with Article 9 of Law No. 4,595 of December 31, 1964, makes public that the National Monetary Council, in a session held on June 25, 2026, having regard to the provisions of Article 4, caput, item VI, of Law No. 4,595 of December 31, 1964, and Article 8-A of Law No. 14,947 of August 2, 2024, and based on Provisional Measure No. 1,366 of June 12, 2026,
R E S O L V E D:
Art. 1º Resolution CMN No. 5,309 of June 19, 2026, published in the Extra Edition of the Official Gazette of the Union on June 22, 2026, shall enter into force with the following alterations:
